Audio/Visual Campaigns & Podcasts

Character.com

Bellissima

As Creative Director on the Character.com campaign, while employed by Global Media, Penny Lee collaborated with Ant Riley, now founder of Sure Shot Studios, to develop a playful, memorable creative concept built around the iconic Cha Cha Slide. They enlisted the vocal talents of DJ Casper, secured the licensing for use of the song, and rewrote the lyrics to fit the campaign message. The project was produced across YouTube advertising and seasonal radio adverts, bringing a fun, recognisable, and highly engaging audio identity to the brand.

Whilst at Global Media, Penny Lee collaborated with Ant Riley, now founder of Sure Shot Studios, to produce a multi-platform campaign across audio, outdoor, video, and photography. The UK launch campaign for this Italian brand featured the vocal talents of Ronnie Ancona and included radio adverts, as well as outdoor visuals for the London Underground through TfL, creating a polished, high-impact campaign designed to bring the brand to life across both sound and screen.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service

Wakefield Grammar School Foundation

As Creative Director on the Yorkshire Ambulance Service campaign, Penny Lee developed a full-length podcast-style video to support their recruitment process. She worked closely with Global’s video, editing, and design teams to produce the main long-form piece, five shorter sectional cut-downs, social media edits, and supporting campaign design. The project was created to give potential recruits a more authentic, human insight into the service, using storytelling-led content to inform, engage, and encourage applications.

Penny Lee worked with Britain’s Got Talent finalists Jack and Tim to deliver a creative workshop with students. The session helped students develop their own sound, write original lyrics, and explore their musical ideas. They then returned two weeks later to record the final track, using the students’ own musical skills and vocals. Penny Lee also worked with Global’s videographer Andy Whitehorn, co-founder of Sure Shot Studios, to create the final video, capturing both the creative process and the finished student-led piece.

Choir Performance in Church

Synetiq

Queen Ethelburga's

As Creative Director on the SYNETIQ podcast project, Penny Lee worked with the client to create and produce a six-part podcast series for release across all major platforms.

The project included full-length episodes, social media content, shorter cut-downs, a bespoke SYNETIQ advert to sit within the series, supporting design work, and a custom piece of music.

They also produced a full day of recording at a local Leeds studio, run by former colleagues, bringing together audio production, storytelling, branding, and campaign assets into one complete content package.

Whilst at Global Media, Penny Lee led a series of student-centred creative workshops designed to give them as much autonomy as possible. The first workshop brought together students, parents, and teachers to help define the school’s overall look, sound, and creative direction, making sure the campaign felt authentic to the community it represented.

The project included design workshops with students, outdoor design work for buses and airports, recording students for radio adverts, and creating an original song for the campaign. Penny Lee also hosted a music workshop with musicians Billented, where students developed their own sound, wrote lyrics, sang, and played the instruments themselves. The students then created their own music video, including the production, making the final piece a genuinely student-led creative output.
